Punchdown AV · Last updated August 13, 2026 · v0.5-beta
Punchdown AV is committed to making our software usable by as many people as possible, including people with disabilities. Accessibility is part of how we design and build, and it is an ongoing effort rather than a one-time task.
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. These guidelines help make web content more accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities, including visual, auditory, motor, and cognitive differences.
Because the product is under active development, conformance is a continuing goal. We review accessibility as we design and ship changes, and we improve areas as we identify them.
Semantic HTML and labelled form fields so screen readers can interpret the page; keyboard operability for interactive controls; attention to colour contrast and support for light and dark themes; layouts that reflow and support browser zoom; and alternative text where images convey meaning.
We consider accessibility during design and development and re-check it as the product evolves. We do not use third-party accessibility “overlay” widgets.
Despite our efforts, some areas may not yet be fully accessible to every assistive technology. In particular, richly visual and interactive features (for example the wiring diagram and drag-and-drop tools) may be difficult to use with some assistive technologies. The same underlying information is also available in text-based views (such as the cable schedule, bill of materials, and checklists), and we can provide it in another format on request.
If something you need is not accessible to you, please tell us and we will help you directly.
If you have difficulty accessing any part of Punchdown AV, encounter a barrier, or need information or a task completed in an alternative way, please contact us at hello@punchdownav.com. If you are a client of a company that uses Punchdown AV, you may also contact that company directly.
We take accessibility feedback seriously. We aim to acknowledge reports within five business days and to provide the information or assistance you need through an alternative method while we work on a fix.
This is a living statement that applies to the Punchdown AV web application and its public pages, including quotes, intake forms, and client portals. We review and update it as the product changes.
